My ideal life in one sentence would be: "art in all its states".
Art entered my life quickly and gradually from the age of 7 thanks to dance and music. However, painting and singing came later.
Indeed in 2010, I wanted to try painting. Also, I painted for 2 years, but I was not yet ready to share my paintings. Then, the events of life made me put this activity aside for ten years to find dance and music, and discover singing.
The evolution of my illness probably awakened a new artistic sensibility. I have lived with multiple sclerosis for 28 years, my oldest "friend". Over time, I learned to live with her. However, in the spring of 2021, it took a 180° turn. I haven't recovered since. Today, it takes over and made me give up many activities including dancing. There is before and now, a perpetual duality. I then felt the need to find the painting, like an emergency in March 2022.
Previously, my painting was rather figurative with a preference for hands. From now on, my sensitivity tends more towards abstract painting which allows me to pose my ideas, my emotions. However, it remains a pleasure, I let my hand go as it pleases towards shapes and colors. It seems that the painting reflects the mood of the artist, so it is my subconscious that guides ideas and movements.
Finally, after being encouraged, I have passed a milestone and I am now ready to introduce my work to a new audience. It is above all, for me, a moment and a means of sharing.
