Arsuaga's pictorial work is based on places, objects and people in her environment with whom she is linked by a more or less close emotional bond, which she wants to know in depth. In the case of portraiture, she paints, especially her family, friends and loved ones, and begins to explore this genre in depth, highly influenced by the entire history of painting, on which very different artists have insisted time and time again in this topic, each one from their own point of view.

1994 Tolosa, Spain

Ana Arsuaga Arambarri was born in Tolosa, Guipúzcoa in 1994.

She studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country, so she moved to Bilbao and later studied a Master of Painting at the same faculty. Currently, it is there, in Bilbao, where she works as a painter and in parallel as a musician, forming part of the musical group Serpent, and Verde Prato, her solo project.

Her pictorial work is based on places, objects and people in her environment with whom she is linked by a more or less close emotional bond, which she wants to know in depth. In the case of portraiture, she paints, especially her family, friends and loved ones, and begins to explore this genre in depth, highly influenced by the entire history of painting, on which very different artists have insisted time and time again in this topic, each one from their own point of view.

Although she has shown some of these portraits in exhibitions such as ERTIBIL 2019, most of them will be seen in this sample.
