Eveline WEIL was born in Strasbourg to a German mother and a French father. Taken in hand by a plastic arts teacher at the age of 8, she has since had one idea in mind: to become a painter. Considering this profession as a job of "acrobat", her parents pushed her towards a profession "worthy of the name", but that did not prevent her from continuing to paint. After working as a specialized educator for 17 years, she decided 10 years ago to devote her life to painting ...
Attached to the history of the Jewish people, there is in all her paintings an indication of her belonging. She does not hesitate to qualify her painting as "suggestive", namely not to show but to suggest. This allows the gaze to dive into the paintings and discover a story.
