Miyuki Takanashi (1961, Sopporo, Japan). With her romantic aesthetic and her, sometimes childlike, imaginary, Takanashi’s main motifs are natural landscapes such as snow, forests and feminine figures.

Through the use of gold leaf, ink and tempera and characterized by an artistic style able to highlight the rhythm of silence, she expresses the concepts of preciousness and beauty and she depicts her thoughts about life. The artist is also known for her icons and she is a member of the Japan International Artists Association.

Miyuki Takanashi is a Japanese artist born in 1961 who lives & works in Sapporo in Japan. She is graduated from Hokkaido University of Education Iwamizawa in Art Department. Her main motifs are the original landscapes as snow, forest & woman. She expresses preciousness, beauty & thoughts of life in a style that shows the rythm of the silence. She uses gold leaf, ink & tempera. The artist is also known to make icons. She is member of Japan International Artists Association.
