Julien MOREL was born in 1985, in the Var region. Self-taught artist, he began his art in the street and began to graffiti in the early 2000s in Paris. After various frescoes and collages on walls across France, the artist began to put his art on canvas in 2012.

He uses different materials like spray paint, acrylics and oil paints. He was discovered on social networks by Art Life Gallery, where he is a permanent artist. Still active in the street to this day, he joined the “Nouvelles Mémoires” association, which brings together several street artists and graffiti artists from the Var. His art is recognizable among a thousand, with his acrylic portraits in barcode form, referred to as visual art. Passionate about painting just like his father, artist-painter at the Saint Michel gallery located in Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Julien Morel thus reproduces the icons of pop culture in his own way.

The KINOR Gallery spotted him in 2017 when he was tagging a Gainsbourg rue Traversière there. The crush was immediate. You can now admire his works at 9, rue de Rivoli in Paris!
